i am rhiannon, a Wiccan, a singer, a lapidarist, a wife, a dog's mother, a hand drummer, a pianist, a Celtic lap harper, a lover of the Renaissance, of Medieval lore, of JW Waterhouse, of Rbt Frost, of goats, of Aaron Copland, of Mozart, of flowers (alstroemeria, lilacs,lily of the valley, tall bearded iris), of color (esp. turquoise, black, forest green, deep purple, garnet red), of the night sky, the smell of oncoming rain & the sound of rolling thunder-and of really good choral directors. i am also a friend, a listener, a sister, a daughter, a liberal aunt, a second cousin in love with her twin 61-year old male cousins, an ecologist/recyclist...Therapy for me is digging in the dirt with my ungloved hands. There you have it - the most important schtuff. One more piece of the schtuff is jewelry and i had seemingly gone through website after website of Pagan jewelry, finding myself continually longing for jewelry that is more attuned with my faith. Surely, as i have sifted through the Pagan jewelry sites, i've found some pieces that spoke to me but i noticed something lacking-a more direct connection to Wicca. So, through my website, i'm trying to fill that need... not only in myself but also, in other Wiccans. i had been making jewellery for some years before i was moved to create pieces reflecting a Wiccan tradition and now feel that the time is right & there is a need to be doing this. On this site, all creations are one of a kind. There are a few pieces that are not made by me because i do not own the equipment in order to make them but wanted to offer them on the site. Since Wicca is a 'subsidiary' of Paganism, of course, i truly follow Earth cycles and i am attuned strongly to the elementals and what they have to show us but i also follow the Sabbats, Esbats and basically worship every day and at most every moment of my life. There is always something to be thankful about, isn't there?!

My "thing" is gemstones! Over the years, i have defined and redefined why i do what i do by questions that have come up in my mind as well as questions posed to me by others. You may read more about that in my Artist's Statement & in the beginnings of my business, which may be found in "About Ceridwen Creations and About rhiannon."

i'd like to explain briefly the navigation of this site. On the top frame of your browser are the main categories of items i currently have available. When you click on one of these, the left frame menu will update with sub-category links. By clicking on these sub-category links, the main frame area will update with item details and picture thumbnails. You can click on any of the thumbnails for a quick full-screen view of the picture.

Most importantly, although i call this site a Wiccan website, i welcome people of all walks of faith. There are pieces that i make which could be meaningful to you even though you may not be Wiccan. The reason for this is because gemstones bridge all walks to the Divine. i will try to point this out as i describe the pieces i make.

Thank you for honoring me with your curiousity and my hope is that, if you don't find anything which strikes at your heartstrings or soulstrings, that you keep in touch with me. This site will change fairly regularly. Also, i hope to add a little knowledge to the general knowledge that you might have... about gemstones and how they relate to gods, goddesses, quarters, elementals, Sabbats, Esbats and everyday rituals you do in your life.
